This mono green deck is aggressive and built entirely around the insane power level of Kodama of the West Tree. Kodama of the West Tree only asks that we play a bunch of "modified" creatures (a creature that has a +1/+1 counter, is enchanted with an aura, or is equipped), and the payoff is a ton of free lands. We've focused this deck on being able to drop cheap modified creatures in the early turns and immediately come out swinging. From there, we will pull way ahead on lands, so we've added a bunch of powerful landfall triggers. There are a lot of "X" casting cost creatures in the deck that come down in the first two turns in order to get on the board with a modified creature, but they can also be a huge mana sink later in the game.

Since we are already using the +1/+1 counter theme so heavily, there are many tricks included that supplement this theme, such as proliferate and various cards that care about +1/+1 counters. Evolution Sage is perhaps our favorite example of this, as it works so perfectly with both elements of Kodama of the West Tree.

All of the cards will be authentic English Magic: the Gathering cards, with a mix of Near Mint and Lightly Played conditions. Please keep in mind that for cards with multiple printings, you may receive different versions than pictured depending on which versions were available in our inventory when we built this deck.
